Student Day General Information

TBA is pleased to announce that the TBA Student Day will be on Friday, July 21. Last year over 1500 students attended Student Day and a larger turnout is anticipated this year.

-TBA offers a full day of exciting and information-packed events for Student Day. Therefore, students are expected to attend all sessions throughout the day. There can be no gathering or socializing in the entryways or hallways between event rooms. Directors, please inform your parent chaperones of this policy so they can help ensure a smooth and pleasant day for everyone.

-Each student and chaperone will receive a TBA Student Day Badge for Friday, July 21.

-Pre-Registered Students pick up badges at 7:30am Friday, July 21, outside of Hemisfair Ballroom. Please have one director or chaperone from your school pick up all your badges.

-Onsite registration for those not pre-registered will be at 7:30am Friday, July 21, outside Hemisfair Ballroom. Onsite registration fee will be $15 per student.

-Orientation for all students will begin at 8am in Hemisfair Ballroom. At this time, students will receive a schedule for the Student Day and a leadership notebook. At the end of the day attendees will be presented a Certificate of Attendance..

-Activities for students from 8am until 5:00pm include Leadership Training with Frank Troyka and staff, special sessions with Dr. Tim Lautzenheiser and Fran Kick, TMEA or ATSSB All State Etude Presentation, and a college fair for students to visit with representatives from several Texas University Music Programs.

-Lunch break will be at noon and is not provided by TBA.

Print the Student Day Registration Form and mail the form and payment.
