The performers of the first ever TBA All Star Collegiate Jazz Band were selected by recorded audition. They are all current full time university or college Conductor students. In a cooperative and supportive venture with the IAJE - Texas Unit, TBA used the current year IAJE Texas Unit All-State Jazz Ensemble audition packet. Included with the recorded material, all applicants also submitted a vita to include musical accomplishments.

Congratulations to these fine young men and women! It is an honor for them to be chosen and they will truly benefit from working with Dr. Ronald McCurdy Each student will receive a plaque honoring their appointment to the band, as well as access to all convention clinics, concerts and exhibits. Each applicant was sponsored by an Active TBA member. Judging was held in late March.
