The band will play selections from new concert band music, grades 2-6. The Austin Symphonic Band is a wind and percussion instrument ensemble dedicated to the artistic performance of a variety of music. The band is comprised of a group of volunteer musicians who combine their talents and services to provide performances of artistic merit for the benefit of Band members, audiences, and the Austin community. Members represent the full spectrum of Austin citizenry with backgrounds as diverse as the Central Texas community it serves.
