BUSINESS MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
  • Exhibitor Business Membership - $80.00 per company
    An Exhibitor Business Membership is required for companies, corporations, or school affiliated organizations who wish to exhibit at the TBA 2010 Convention/Clinic.

    An Exhibitor Business Membership entitles companies, corporations, or school- affiliated organizations to advertise and/or become a TBA Event Sponsor.

  • Non-Exhibitor Business Membership - $125.00 per company
    A Non-Exhibitor Business Membership is required for companies, corporations, or school affiliated organizations who choose NOT to exhibit but wish to send their employees to the convention.

    This membership does NOT entitle a company to conduct business by distributing literature or business cards to TBA Members.

    A Non-Exhibitor Business Membership entitles companies, corporations, or school- affiliated organizations to advertise and/or become a TBA Event Sponsor.

  • Advertising
    Any company, corporation, or school-affiliated organization who wishes to advertise in the TBA official Convention Program or TBA Bandmasters Review must be a TBA Exhibitor Business Member or a TBA Non-Exhibitor Business Member.

  • Event Sponsorships
    All business members are invited to participate in the TBA Event Sponsorship Program. Purchasing Sponsorships is a great opportunity for you to show your support of music education in Texas. As added benefits, your company will be entitled to extra TBA website and publication exposure, recognition at the specific event, and will earn 5 extra booth placement priority points if exhibiting at TBA for each $500 TBA Event Sponsorship contracted by the company.

Exhibitor Booth Assignment Policy
Exhibit spaces will be assigned by show management after March 10, 2010—the last day to earn placement priority points. Assignment priority will be determined using a number based on total points earned in the TBA Booth Lottery System. The highest total points earn top priority. Points will be awarded for the following:
  • One (1) history point for EACH year a company has previously exhibited at TBA (1 point per year).
  • Five (5) points for EACH booth a company contracts for the 2010 TBA Convention.
  • A number of points awarded representing the date the contract is received by the TBA Office. 60 points to be awarded if received on or before January 11, 2010; reduced by 1 point each day thereafter, with 1 point awarded on the 60th day, March 10, 2010.
  • Five (5) points awarded for each TBA Event Sponsorship contracted by the company.

Exhibitor Booth Payment/Registration
  • A non-refundable deposit ($80 Exhibitor Business Membership plus 50% total booth costs) is due when application is submitted.
  • Remaining balance is due May 1, 2010.
  • TBA will retain the non-refundable deposit for cancellations requested in writing on or before June 1, 2010. No refunds will be granted after that date.
  • You may pay online using Visa, MasterCard or American Express.
  • The transaction is completed immediately when application is submitted.
  • Contracts received after March 10, 2010—the last day to earn points will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • No change in booth assignments may be made without the approval of show management.
  • Your online Business Member and Exhibit Space Application becomes binding and effective when an authorized agent of your company submits the application, non-refundable deposit is paid in full, and TBA expressly accepts the application via formal confirmation.
