Steve Wilson is professor of trombone at the University of Texas at El Paso. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at El Paso and holds both a Masters degree and a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Trombone Performance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Dr. Wilson has performed around the world both as a soloist and as a member of the Continental Trombone Quartet, having given recitals and master classes in Canada, Spain, Brazil, Mexico and across much of the United States. Dr. Wilson has presented clinics at the Midwest Clinic, the IAJE National Convention, the International Trombone Festival and the Eastern Trombone Workshop.
