THE CLINIC WAS A SUCCESS!!! READ THE FEED BACK FROM THREE ATTENDEES

"Surely one of the greatest assets we have in Texas is our cadre of master teachers like Cindy Lansford and David Brandon. The TBA workshop at UNT was an incredibly intimate and interactive opportunity to not only learn some of the techniques of these two very successful directors, but also to see them in application on the spot. My associates and I left the session with new ideas and a renewed focus for continuing discussion about our own pedagogical approaches. I am very grateful to TBA for sponsoring this session and hope to see many more like it in the future."
Jason Tucker, Rice Middle School, Plano ISD

"I felt like a fly on the wall getting the chance to witness the rehearsal techniques of two experienced and successful band directors. Not only did I observe the teaching techniques of Master Teachers, I came away with a deeper understanding of what a middle school band is suppose to sound like. The practical techniques used to teach fundamentals have made a huge impact in my band already and I feel more confident using them because I was able to see them in action at this clinic."
Tami Hudgin, Cain Middle School, Rockwall ISD

"The TBA Professional Development Clinic at UNT provided great opportunity to learn from the ingenuity of highly effective band directors. Practical information and feedback from exceptional clinicians combined with a superior demonstration band to produce immediate and audible examples. I believe that any future band directors who wish to learn their craft should find themselves at TBA professional development clinics. It was outstanding."
Jed Maus, Music Education Major, Southern Methodist University
