Who is eligible to join the Texas Bandmasters Association?
- Any person currently working in the profession may join TBA as an Active Member.
- Any person who has retired from the profession may join TBA as a Retired Member.
- All companies, corporations, or school affiliated organizations
who wish to participate in the TBA 2008 Convention/Clinic for the purpose of
contacting TBA members, are required to hold a Sustaining Membership

- One Day Visitor's Pass Convention Attendance Fee - $50.00
- 2008 Convention On-Site Registration
- All registrants using a credit card will be asked to use the kiosk computers to complete their transaction. Assistance will be available at the kiosk computers.
- At the Convention, registrants with school checks for $70 dated prior to July 1 will be asked to use a paper form.
- All checks dated after July 1 should reflect the on-site fee of $75. These checks can be used at the kiosk computers for membership and convention registration payment.
- All pre-registered members (membership and convention) should bring their TBA membership card (member number), email address and password used to register.

- The Bandmasters Review is TBA's educational quarterly publication covering topics of
interest to TBA members. These topics include information on band instruments, various teaching methods,
current governmental issues and law changes, music history and theory, composing / publishing and much more.

- TBA Job Bank -- The TBA Job Bank helps
match the right person with the right job. If you are looking to make a change in your career, visit
the TBA web site for up-to-date job information. Likewise, if you have a vacancy, you may post it to
the TBA Job Bank through our web site.
- Barbeque Dinner and Dance
On Tuesday evening, the Bobby Goff Memorial Washer Chunkin' Contest begins at 5:00 p.m., followed
by the TBA Barbeque Dinner and Dance at 7:30 p.m. This traditional night includes great Texas food,
music for everyone, and activities for the kids. Admission tickets for the barbecue meal are part
of the Active, Retired and Spouse registration package. Additional tickets may be purchased.
- TBA SBEC Professional Development Hours -- Texas Bandmasters Association has been approved and registered as a Continuing Education (CPE) Provider by the State Board for Education Certification.
